Human Trafficking

The U.S. law definition of human trafficking as the use of force, fraud, or coercion to compel a person into commercial sex acts, or labor, or services against their will. However, compelling minors into commercial sex is considered human trafficking regardless of the presence of force, fraud, or coercion (Learn more from the National Human Trafficking Hotline).

Our training program aims to train your employees recognize, identify, and report any potential human trafficking. Our course observes California’s training requirements and is also approved by the State of Florida, Department of Business and Professional Regulations.

Sexual Harassment

Employers must educate their employees on acceptable behaviors and on preventing and eliminating sexual harassment in the workplace. Managers and supervisors must also undergo specialized training on proper handling of sexual harassment cases.

It’s also important for companies to set up a process for handling complaints, investigations, and corrective measures when sexual harassment is reported to them.

Our program provides training for both employees and managers that would help you be compliant with general sexual harassment training, hospitality-specific training, or New York or California-specific training.

CALIFORNIA SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING

We have online sexual harassment training courses that are compliant with California’s new requirements for training both employees and supervisors.

Per California mandate as of January 1, 2021: All California employers with five or more employees must have at least two hours of sexual harassment training for supervisors and at least one hour of training for non-supervisory employees within six months of their hire, and their training must be provided once every two years.

NEW YORK SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING

The New York State Legislature and New York City Council have passed some of the strongest Anti-Sexual Harassment Laws in the country. One of these laws’ requirements is that all New York employers must provide sexual harassment training to their employees once a year.

Our training program is updated with materials to help you comply with training and policy mandates by the city and state (for example: conspicuously displaying an anti-sexual harassment poster and fact sheet).
