UNDERWRITER – HOSPITALITY PROGRAM
Origin Specialty Underwriters is searching for a high energy, dynamic professional with 2-3 years of commercial P&C underwriting experience — either on the E&S, Admitted, or Brokerage sides of the business — for a position as UNDERWRITER – HOSPITALITY PROGRAM. Our company is a national MGA underwriting programs with A Rated carriers for Quick Service and Franchise restaurants, hotels/resorts, and other niche market areas.
As an Underwriter for our growing hospitality program, you will be responsible to reviewing submitted risks for eligibility, rating/pricing in accordance with established guidelines, providing exceptional and responsive service to our broker-partners, and assisting in the management of your portfolio of accounts for overall profitability.
The ideal candidate for this position will have 2-3 years of underwriting experience, a demonstrated commitment to pursuing continuing education (i.e. earned designations or working towards them), a university degree in a relevant field or comparable work experience, and will be communicative and self-motivated. Our relationships with our carrier partners and distribution network are at the very core of our business, and a professional who can add value to these relationships in their own way will be a successful addition to our team.

ASSISTANT UNDERWRITER
Origin Specialty Underwriters is searching for a high energy, dynamic professional with 1-3 years of commercial P&C insurance experience — either on the E&S, Admitted, or Brokerage sides of the business — for a position as ASSISTANT UNDERWRITER. Our company is a national MGA underwriting programs with A Rated carriers for Quick Service and Franchise restaurants, hotels/resorts, and other niche market areas.
As an Assistant Underwriter for our growing programs, you will be responsible for helping our Underwriters manage their overall risk portfolios by providing exceptional and responsive service to our broker-partners, issuing policies and endorsements, and supporting the underwriting, risk selection, rating and renewal processes — all in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
The ideal candidate for this position will have 1-3 years of commercial insurance experience, a commitment to pursuing continuing education (i.e. earned designations or working towards them), a university degree in a relevant field or comparable work experience, and will be communicative and self-motivated.
